Adult Bereavement Group

The Adult Bereavement Group is a community service project of Sutter Hospice, offering support for those grieving the death of a loved one or friend. The group is open to anyone having experienced a loss through death within the last year. The group is led by a professional counselor and meets 2-3 times a month.

This group helps individuals recognize the various aspects of grief and offers ways to cope and work toward the acceptance of the death being experienced. In the group setting there is an environment that is safe, supportive, and empathetic.
